About Adam Gottbetter
Adam Gottbetter, founder and owner of Gottbetter & Partners, LLP; Gottbetter Capital Markets, LLC; and Gottbetter Capital Group, Inc., provides services encompassing the legal and financial aspects of corporate securities and transactions. In addition to his substantial body of work in law and finance, he maintains a number of professional associations and charitable commitments.
Adam Gottbetter oversees three businesses: a law firm, a merchant and investment banking business, and a fund that invests in public companies. The Gottbetter Group offers services in securities compliance, corporate compliance, mergers and acquisitions, reverse mergers (APOs), and Gottbetter Public Offerings (GPO), which are self-underwritten. Operating interdependently, the financial and legal entities serve as a one-stop shop for clients in need of complex and varied business solutions.
For 10 years, Adam Gottbetter served as Managing Partner of the law firm Kaplan Gottbetter & Levenson, LLP, where he oversaw the firm’s growth from 2 to 20 professionals. Adam Gottbetter also co-founded Highgate House Funds, Ltd., where he raised $69 million. In 2005, he led Highgate to become one of the 25 most active annual investors in the PIPE sector. He earned admittance to practice before all state courts of New York and Connecticut, as well as the federal courts of the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Additionally, he is part of the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section and its Committee on Federal Regulation of Securities, as well as the subcommittees on structured financing, international securities, and reporting companies.
Donating his time and legal acumen to charitable work, Adam Gottbetter helps the Albert Einstein College of Medicine raise needed capital and serves on the College’s Executive Board. He has also served on Resurrection Episcopal Day School’s Board of Trustees, the Board of Governors of the Core Club, and the Leadership Council at Lehigh University.
Adam Gottbetter obtained his Juris Doctor from the prestigious Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was part of the Moot Court team. He received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Lehigh University College of Business and Economics. He currently lives in New York City with his wife and two young children.
